TASTING NOTES
Pale green with gentle golden hue in appearance. The nose is intense with dominant floral and citrus notes intermixing jasmine, bergamot, lemond curd, fresh fig and apple tart. The mousse is delicate and persistent, gentle on you palate. The entry shows energy and character with the return of floral notes accented by orchard fruit and Mirabelle plum. This wine shows great focus and precision because of its freshness and has a long floral aftertaste. Minerality, and elegance throughout, it is rewarding now but shows great promise for the next 10-15 years.

TASTING NOTES
The small and mighty Mountain Estate Merlot block just behind the winery has become a team favorite in the cellar. The resulting 2022 EJ Church Merlot opens with aromas of blueberry, dark cherry, and touches of nutmeg and bay leaf. The lush mid-palate is filled with more cherry, plum and cola. A gently balanced wave of acidity, sweet light oak, and long soft tannins carries it to a persistent finish. This pairs deliciously with charcuterie and cheese! – Justin Carr
