Pale green in color. Intense and intriguely mineral nose made of white pepper, oyster shells, flinty tones that reveals gentle strawberry and cherry fruit with some time in the glass. It is a bluffing wine with a palate constantly evolving from spice and mineral to light red fruit. The palate is brillant and clean with the retun of crushed white rocks mixed withever growing cherry fruit, an revealing backbone of acidity and minerals. Our 2021 Pinot Noir Blanc is made for now and then, as a few years of cellaring will benefit this gem.

The 2022 growing season was marked by the extended drought in Northern California. A very dry winter lead to an early bud break and the vines developed slowly and stayed small. After dodging a few late spring frost scares, the vines continued to develop but stayed small throughout the year. The summer was cool which resulted in a slow, concentrated ripening that allowed maximum flavor and aroma development with low sugar levels and high acidity. We were able to plan harvest at the beginning of a very hot spell around Labor Day.
