Position Description:
Long Meadow Ranch is a diversified 650-acre organic farming operation in the western hills of the
Napa Valley above Rutherford, producing wine, olive oil, beef, and fruits & vegetables.. This position is for a
full time Customer Service & Administrative Assistantr who works closely with the general public as well as the retail and wholesale sales teams
Reports to:
Manager, LMR General Store
Core Responsibilities:        

Customer Service Responsibilities:

  • Handle consumer order processing
  • Answer consumer inquiries, take phone orders
  • Arrange order fulfillment via third party companies
  • Track & follow up on shipments
  • Enter orders into accounting system
  • Manage inventory levels at third party companies
  • Manage supplies
  • Compliance reporting

Wholesale and Retail Sales Team Support Responsibilities

  • Assist in data management
  • Help coordinate and staff wine club and other special events
  • Assist with tour bookings and other inquiries
  • Coordinate local and national wine dinners
  • General administrative support
Professional Requirements: 
  • College degree preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in the wine industry
  • Strong computer skills
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Photoshop & PageMaker
  • Website (HTML) maintenance experience desireable
  • Effective communication skills (oral and writen)
  • High standards of ethics and integrity
  • Able to lift 30+ lbs
