Napa Valley Select was a Gold Medal winner at the worldwide competition held at the prestigious 2006 San Diego Food & Wine Festival..

Created from a blend of our own olives and olives raised by our organic farming neighbors, Napa Valley Select is the ideal mixing oil. The Manzanillo olives included in the blend provide a touch of natural bitterness that goes well with greens. Its natural peppery character adds a rustic feel that is perfect with many Tuscan recipes.

Make a salad dressing, create a fresh pesto, mix a flavorful beef marinade, or prepare Tuscan beans. Or, just enjoy dipping with bread. Owner Ted Hall likes the oil best on salads all by itself - with a pinch of sea salt.

2007 Prato Lungo 500mlThe 2008 Prato Lungo once again presents its wonderfully fresh nose with green grass, green apple, and a touch of citrus. The entry into the mouth is silky smooth and the peppery after tastes reinforce the oil's role as the perfect condiment. We are proud that many of the best chefs in the country have discovered Prato Lungo and are using it in their own kitchens. During 2005 our oil was been featured by outstanding chefs at numerous special dinners, including Alfred Portale at the Gotham Bar & Grill in NYC, Terance Brennan and Craig Hopson at Picholine in NYC, and Chris Shephard at Brennan's in Houston. Released annually in June, Prato Lungo sells out quickly each year.
